ANTIBIOTICS

​     Antibiotics began in late 2022 with the release of their first song, Plenty of Snow at the Base. Its founding members were Kai Bixby on keyboard, Britton Weinstein on vocals, James Cravotta on bass, and Lucas Sanchez on drums. Shortly after the release of their first song, Britton left the band causing Kai to take over on vocals and Collin O' Connor to join the band as the guitarist and secondary vocalist. For a while this was the Antibiotics lineup, continuing through after the release of their first album, Mr. Legman. Mr. Legman featured important early Antibiotics tracks like Train on the Water, Mr. Legman, and a rerecorded version of Plenty of Snow at the Base.

     Antibiotics would preform at The Kingdom in March 2023 and then later that spring, Bassist James Cravotta would be replaced by Joe Nance. Shortly after, Drummer Lucas Sanchez would leave the band in preparation of him joining the military. He would be replaced with ex-Washed Up member, Aron Farkas.

     During the summer of 2023, Antibiotics spent most of their time recording their second album. They played very few shows over this time due Aron playing frequently with his skramz band Clay Birds. However, he would meet several times to record drums for the album.

     On August 10, 2023, Antibiotics would release their album Hypochondriac. Hypochondriac was undoubtedly the band's greatest release, featuring songs like Fascism Boulevard, The Ball Doctor, and Firetruck, among others. As summer turned to fall, Anthony Murayama would join the band as Antibiotics' permanent drummer. On September 2nd 2023, Antibiotics would play their final show as Kai would be moving to Georgia for college. 

     Despite playing their last show, Antibiotics would return to play more shows when Kai would return for winter break and spring break. On February 24 of 2024, Antibiotics would release their single, Planet Gnome. Currently the band is somewhat inactive due to all members being preoccupied with other projects.
